Music Is To Blame - Freelance Contributor
Indulging and combining my passion for music with journalism, I began contributing to Music Is To Blame and was immediately inspired by their raw celebration of music as an art form; regardless of genre, medium or by proxy. As a journalist, it is a privilege to be able to combine your interests with your job in such an innovative fashion.

Providing a platform for female and marginalised voices entering the journalism industry, Empoword Journalism has created an environment where I could learn the core skills required of a high-performing journalist. Having begun as a contributing writer in February 2022, I became Spotlight Section Editor at Quench Magazine, Cardiff University's magazine dedicated to student living. Previously, my writing has been published across the online and print magazine's spotlight, literature and music sections.

StoryLab CU - Innovator
Working alongside a cohort of Master's Degree students, following my first year studying Media, Journalism and Culture (BA) at Cardiff University, I pitched 'The Magazine Project' within a programme which developed the storytelling and entrepreneurial skills of students with business ideas. The experience was invaluable, and I was delighted to receive the special award of 'Best Contributor' following my presentation delivered to industry heavyweights at Nike, ARTIMUS and the BBC.

Developing from my involvement in The Bridge Builder's Programme during March 2021, I partook in a week-long intensive programme educating young people on peace-building, humanitarian action and activism on campus at the Woolf Institute, Cambridge.
